PERSONAL:
My wife Hope and I have lived in the Edwardsville since 2007.  I am employed by Edwardsville School District as a teacher. Before Edwardsville, I attended Eastern Illinois University where I wrestled and earned my degree in Education. I am originally from Fairfield, Illinois where I was a three-time state qualifier in wrestling, finishing third my senior year. Along with coaching I am a huddle sponsor for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Lincoln Middle School.

PERSONAL:
I grew up in Edwardsville and graduated from Edwardsville High School in 2006. I was a 3 time state qualifier in high school. I attended Eastern Illinois 2006-2007 and was a starter on their wrestling team. Eastern dropped their wrestling program so I transferred to Mckendree University where I graduated from 2010. I started all three years I was there and was a 2 time national qualifier. While wrestling at Mckendree my team placed 2nd, 3rd, and 5th in the NAIA National Tournament.

PERSONAL:
I started my wrestling career at Liberty Middle School in 2005 under Coach Followell. I wrestled all four years in High School in the middle weights (140-160) Being a sectional qualifier my senior year. After high school I became an assistant coach for the wrestling club here in Edwardsville to give back to the program that gave my so much.
