Fellowship of Christian Athletes Wrestling

FCAW Mission

The mission of FCA Wrestling is to take the gospel into the hearts and minds of wrestlers and coaches, so that through the power of Christ they can achieve victory in knowing him as Savior and Lord, all the while, competing with great intensity, strong mind and body to accomplish whatever God has for them.

As a sports specific ministry of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, FCAW offers a unique opportunity for impact in the wrestling community. There are over 9,445 high school teams with 257,346 boys and 5,048 girls participating in the sport of wrestling. At the college level, there are approximately 8500 wrestlers in some form of intercollegiate wrestling through NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association), NCWA (National College Wrestling Association) and NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association). Participation in wrestling has increased significantly in the last few years–in both the number of athletes and fans. These statistics all indicate tremendous potential and opportunity for the ministry of FCAW within the world of wrestling.
